These terms govern your use of Family Calendar, provided by Wyvern Byte LLC ("we," "us," or "our"). Family Calendar is a household organizer for supported Android tablets and Google TV devices. By using the app, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app; any refund rights remain subject to applicable law and Google Play's policies.

1. Household use and adult responsibility

An adult who can enter into a binding agreement must purchase and set up the app and manage its settings and connected services. Children may use household activities under an adult's supervision. You are responsible for choosing appropriate content, protecting the grown-up PIN, and deciding who can access your shared device. The PIN does not create a separate private account for each family member.

2. Your license

Subject to these terms and the applicable Google Play rules, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive license to install and use Family Calendar for personal household purposes on devices covered by your purchase. The app is licensed, not sold. We and our licensors retain ownership of the software, branding, and other app materials. Third-party and open-source components remain subject to their respective licenses.

You must not redistribute or sell the app, bypass purchase or security controls, use it unlawfully, or use it to infringe another person's rights. These restrictions do not limit activities permitted by applicable law or an applicable open-source license.

3. Purchases and refunds

Family Calendar is free to download from Google Play and free to use for 7 days. A one-time in-app purchase through Google Play then unlocks it permanently, with no subscription for the base app. The price, taxes, and device compatibility are shown on Google Play before purchase. Google processes payments under its own terms. Refunds are handled under Google Play's refund policies and applicable law. Contact [email protected] for help with a purchase or an app problem.

Your purchase covers the app offered at the time of purchase. It does not promise any unannounced features, perpetual updates or support, or continued availability of third-party services.

4. Your information and backups

You retain your rights to the information and photos you enter. You must have permission to use the content you add and to connect any external accounts. Our Privacy Policy explains how information is handled.

Your household information is stored on your device. We do not host your household database and cannot restore it for you. You are responsible for protecting your device, maintaining and checking exported backups, and keeping any backup containing sign-in tokens secure. Clearing app storage, uninstalling the app, or losing or damaging the device can remove local information. Keep a separate backup of anything you need.

5. Connected services

Optional connections, including Google Calendar, Google Photos, and weather services, depend on third-party availability, permissions, and terms. You choose whether to connect them and may revoke access. Those providers can change or discontinue their services, which may affect app features. An internet connection is required for features that retrieve online information.

6. Updates and availability

Updates are distributed through Google Play and may change features or supported devices. We may make changes to address security, compatibility, legal requirements, or service availability. We do not guarantee uninterrupted operation or compatibility with every device. Material changes remain subject to any rights you have under applicable law.

7. Everyday planning

Family Calendar supports everyday household planning. Events, reminders, synchronization, and weather information may be delayed, incomplete, or inaccurate. Verify important information and use an independent reminder or other appropriate system where a missed event could cause harm. The app is not an emergency alert, medical monitoring, or safety system.

8. Warranties and liability

To the extent permitted by law, the app is provided "as is" and "as available," without additional warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the app will be error-free or that data loss will never occur.

To the extent permitted by law, Wyvern Byte LLC is not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of the app. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for fraud, intentional misconduct, gross negligence, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited. Your mandatory consumer rights, including applicable guarantees, remedies, and refund rights, remain unaffected.

9. Ending use

You may stop using and uninstall the app at any time. Your license may end if you materially breach these terms and do not correct the breach after notice and a reasonable opportunity to do so, where required by law. Ending use does not remove exported backups or revoke external account permissions automatically; see the Privacy Policy for removal instructions.

10. Changes to these terms

We may revise these terms and will update the date on this page. For material changes, we will provide appropriate notice through the app, its Google Play listing, or another suitable channel, and obtain consent where required by law. Changes do not retroactively remove rights you already have. If you disagree with revised terms, you may stop using the app.
